EVIDENCE
Our epic story begins.Blame me for any horrible enemy name translations. I did that part. Sorry. Many implements of death at low prices. On the lookout for the princess' soul.Grabbing all the spoils.I'm very powerful.
MISSION ANALYSIS
It was peaceful in the town of Dorl, until monsters raided the town and stole the princess' soul.
They carted it off deep into the labyrinth beneath the town. Many soldiers braved the terrors, but none could succesfully
rise back to the surface with Princess Etna's soul in hand. Will you be the one who can do it?

This was one of the earliest FDS releases by DOG, a Disk-Oriented-Group of publishers, headed by Square Co. Ltd.
This is a pretty basic 3D dungeon-crawler, but seeing as it was made in the days between Dragon Quest 1 and 2, it's pretty good.
This game managed to see rerelease of it and it's first sequel on the MSX in 1988, along with Famicom cartridge sequels in 1988 and 1990.
I'll probably do the FDS version of Deep Dungeon II (Yuushi no Monshou/The Crest of the Hero) at some point. That game is faster-paced
and allows you to control your hero's atrributes at levelup. But for now, enjoy the beginnings of this humble series.
