MISSION ANALYSIS
Potarin and the Eggplant Kid must find their way through a massive lair, one floor at a time.

Within each room, you will find blocks that can be moved around. The block is pushed entirely over a pit, it will fall in and create
a floor in its path. There are are also various rotating doors that will only move if nothing blocks their intended path.

Try the Puzzle Challenge and conquer all 80 floors (split into four difficulty classes of 20 floors each).
Or if you'd like a quick game, play the trial mode, where you try to complete ten small randomly selected puzzles within five minutes.
You can also challenge a friend to see who can finish the Trial mode first.

If this game seems familiar, it is part of a series of games. The Game Boy installment is the only US release, and was titled Kwirk for its stateside release.
Other versions appeared on the Famicom Disk System and PC Engine with identical gameplay, but some different puzzles.

This was a small game that required little translation, but it provided a decent challenge for my first PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 translation.
The text was stored in a few different ways, and I had something of a challenge tracing the graphics compression.

For emulation, I would recommend mednafen. Out of the free emulators, it ran the game the best. Ootake ran the game alright, but as of version 1.39,
there is a bug where the ending doesn't display properly. As for Hu-Go, the control is fine in the startup menus, but is extremely unresponsive during
actual gameplay for some reason.
